"Pawsome" is a combination of the words "paw" and "awesome," and is used to describe something that is particularly cool or impressive, often in relation to animals or pets.

They're Showing Their Love Dogs, possessing all three neurotransmitters, can experience love and often show their need for it through pawing. A paw resting on your arm while you are petting them communicates that they are experiencing love.

Why does this happen. Many dogs will put their mouth and paw on us – not with any intention to hurt, but more to attract play and affection. This is known as mouthing and pawing. This most commonly occurs with puppies, but often continues into adulthood.

When their head is on us, it's a sign of trust and safety. Dogs might lay their head on us to feel closeness and comfort. Like us, they crave physical contact. By leaning on or resting their head on us, they find peace in being close and feeling a familiar touch.
